I source the “Rustic Range” from a different farm/mill to the solid colours. All of the “Rustic” colours have a beautiful variegation to them. ie, the Charcoal is black and white wool blended together but only slightly so you can still pick out the different colours in it. The micron is not quite as fine as the solid colours although still beautifully soft and most people never even notice there is a difference.  However I think it is important to mention when you are buying online as you cannot feel the quality for yourself. From meeting thousands of customers, I have found that people who normally find they cannot wear wool, or feel they are allergic to its itch factor, can wear the solid colours happily all day. So if you feel prone to itch sensitivity, your best option would be the solid colours, as I highly regard the satisfaction of my customers.
